It's great to hear back from you. I'm not sure how to make this notify my email that I get messages so I'm sorry for the late reply.
I hear you for the simplicity. My current logo is pretty simple. I'm not married to it AT ALL but it's working so far. Yeah, I want some motion graphics for the intro for the films! I like the idea of an illustration though that I can have in some places but not necessarily for a logo. Like a piece of wall art in the office that can really be neat for potential clients to see you know?
Hey. Yeah. A logo design. I'm wanting a whole-world of forest, trees, interesting-creatures living amongst the huge LTD letters with "studios" underneath it. It would be awesome if I could get some movement of that world and then either zooming into the letters or the letters being hoisted upright to show as my intro to my films, you know?
The logo I have now works but as I grow I want my studio to a logo that I want up in glass on the wall when clients walk in, like an awesome Google entrance or Pixar entrance or so. I'm trying to think of the most creative, Avatar, Ferngully-esk way to draw an L, a T, and a D
In all honesty, simplicity works best for a logo, it can easily get too busy and then turns into an illustration. Are you actually wanting some motion graphics for the intro for your films? This could be two jobs essentiall, one logo design, then a seperate treatment when you can add more details such as the forest, creatures etc.
