Yes, I agree with the other comments, looks like a mech. I love it still it's a different perspective of Samus.

... you.. do know legs don't work that way, right?

Don't get me wrong - it's a good picture, the design is nice, and the notion of it being more like a mechsuit than body armor is good. I.. just can't see someone with functioning legs fitting into it and the 'suit walking without shattering their shins and ripping the femur out of the pelvis.

Hey, thanks for posting!

Yeah I saw the post and read some of the replies. I cant believe how many haters are out there....it sucks that they are stuck on the fact that my interpretation isnt "accurate" to the real design and isnt physically plausible...it was actually a nod to a few of my favourite artists, Masamune Shiorw and Ashley Wood, hence the mech suit and inclusion of cat + "odd" proportions respectively. Never mind...

This is an interesting interpretation of Samus and her suit, but it's strictly non-canonical, because Samus is not petite; she's 6'3" tall and weighs 200 pounds. Assuming, say, a seven-foot-tall suit including the full height of the helmet and boots, a woman of that height can snugly fit in there (and does; in the Metroid Prime games her arms and hands are visible inside the gun part of the suit's right arm).

Nevertheless, I like the way the suit comes apart, and I like the idea of Samus as a cat lover (like Cammy).
