Also, how what tool did you use to make all that bright exposure come from outside? going from inside to out, brighter and brighter.

just painted it. You can also use colour dodge on a low opacity, 20-30% to help with the over exposure/bloom but I would do that as a final pass on a flat painting, not on a seperate layer.

Wait, 45 min to draw and paint or 45 min to just paint? Cause if you drew AND painted this in 45 minutes then damn XD

45 mins for everything. I often dont draw the whole thing out then paint it, I may just do a quick sketch then go straight in and paint.

Here's my situation... lol I'm trying to get better with my Wacom tablet pen. I can draw fairly well with pencil and paper but the hand eye coordination between looking at my hand moving and only looking at a cursor moving is very awkward for me. Should I just fight through the awkwardness and keep going or should I try tracing images to help get my coordination up?

tracing wont work, use the pen till you are happy with it. It takes time. What wacom have you got?

intuos 4. Medium. Would you recommend just going straight into tablet drawings or should i practice on paper more until I like my art style (and draw better)? im already decent at drawing from observation with pencil, but memorization isn't the best.

good tablet. do both, draw as much as you can on paper and on the computer. Mix it up, try new styles and techniques. As a concept artist you wont need to copy from life, so your imagination and memory will have to serve you well. Look at www.cghub.com for the standard you are aiming for. this is a website full of professional in the industry, the competition is fierce.
